I'm not sure you could apply the term "Old School" to music from then, as it is more a modern term related to Hip-Hop/Rap, which was coined back in the day (80's I believe). But being a DJ in the early 80's during the more or less explosion of the genre' (i.e. - Sugarhill, Salt & Pepper, Run DMC, Sir Mix-Alot, Big Daddy Kane, Kid N Play, and especially a lot of the indie artists.…
