I am an incredibly harsh and discriminating critic of music, especially of today's hip hop product. With that said, this track from BigPlay Tae of FTP Music Group grabbed me. "These Streets Got Me" is a solidly produced tale of the life of an artist who grinds through the trials and tribulations of life, never allowing anything to stop him. Dancefloor hip hop it is not.. and it is not supposed to be. What I'm happy about is that this is not the regurgitated soulless product being thrown onto radio these days.
