Hard Rock Cafe Showcase artist Ricco Hundo, One of the most prolific session players of Jamaica's pre-ska era, trombonist Rico Rodriguez later emerged as a catalyst behind the U.K.'s Two-Tone movement of the late '70s, recording both as a solo artist and as a member of the legendary Specials. Born October 17, 1934, his musical pursuits began while attending Kingston's Alpha Cottage School, an institution for wayward boys, where he studied trombone under the legendary Don Drummond. In the years to follow, Rodriguez emerged as one of Jamaica's most highly regarded session musicians, often working under the direction of the renowned producer Duke Reid. In 1961, in the months prior to the explosion of the ska phenomenon, he relocated to the U.K., where he recorded a number of sides for the fledgling Island label and gigged extensively on the jazz and R&B circuits, playing with Georgie Fame's Blue Flames and others.

Jay Lavita

Hard Rock Cafe Showcase Artist and Delaware native, Jay Lavita. Is he a diamond in the rough or a musical prodigy? That is the question when hearing the melodious harmonies being crooned by Jeffrey Lynn Tabron.
Jeffrey better know as Jay Lavita has been engulfed in music his entire life. As he was growing up, his parents played a major role in Jay’s love for music by emphasizing hard work and expressing his talents.Every Christmas morning the Tabron family had a holiday ritual. His parents insisted that Jay and his siblings perform before they were allowed to open their presents. This early love of performing helped mold Jay into the vibrant performer he is today.
Jay Lavita discovered a love for music at an early age. With his parents playing the likes of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Deniece Williams, Sade the Temptations amongst other artists, Jay wanted to capture the magic of song that those artists brought to life.

Hard Rock Cafe Showcase artist Dimi Dez is without a doubt a divergent individual.Hip Hop/R&B Artist/Song Writer/Aspiring Fashion Designer, Dimi Dez is one to be aware of. With unpredictable new rhymes and lingering lyrics along with his creative original style he easily stands out from the rest. Born and raised in Boston, MA Dimi always had a thing for music but never really embraced it until he turned 15. From that point he spent countless hours working on his lyrical ability while shaping his own original style. Those who influenced him to really get into music were Eminem, 2pac, Ne-Yo, and Kanye West to name a few. When it comes to fashion, Dimi Dez is clearly the definition of style and he always try's to out dress himself.
