A got great feedback from the last email but people wanted me to elaborate on the "SITUATION" aspect ... since that's the NEW WORD now. "I got this SITUATION over here" ..

Remember ARISTA .. They had a structure of EVERYONE working for ONE common goal witch was BUILDING A BRAND ... ARISTA.

Let me ask u a question .. When do we go back to a DJ being a fuckin DJ .. A&R being an A&R, a STREET TEAM being what it was . STREET TEAM (meaning INTERNET SAVY now) ...

We are ALL over the place. Who at the label is content with branding the LABEL? We have labels that are KNOWN for what they do & are NOT PRODUCING at all because EVERYONE has their OWN AGENDA.

POP labels & employees still get it.

They stay in their LANES, work in their cubicles, leave the HOLLYWOOD SHADES OFF, not trying to be the gotdamn artist too & and do what they NEED to do to make the BUSINESS SUCCESSFUL.

As a DJ we have the POWER. Some DJ one day was handed a record about some straight bull, but it had a catchy beat or hook or both. So he played it and it took off. Then MC's followed that artist's lead in the name of selling records. What about HIP HOP? If HIP HOP ain't about nothing, it's about ORIGINALITY & GROWTH!! Public Enemy, Dead Prez, Goodie Mob, etc. didn't care about radio play. They let the DJ/producer worry about that. They worried about the message, the substance. But there is a cure for the disease of BULLSHIT MUSIC. I challenge all REAL DJ's to be more selective with the records they "break". Stop playing the bull. WE ARE the taste makers. WE decide what's hot. Most music fans don't even listen to lyrics, mainly because there's nothing to listen to.

From this day on, I will be more selective with what I feed Hip Hop. Every time we spin a record we feed Hip Hop. GARBAGE IN - GARBAGE OUT. -THINK ABOUT IT

It got to be a movement,where everybody involved in the movement is ready for change from the lack of promotion now days, back in the day we knew when a release date was now labels are just throwing artist out there and that just one of the topics, Artist there self got to start challenging there self more and be more deverse 90 percent of the albums that came out in the last two year had a topic about swag are grindin your true grind is your work ethics .Being a artist and a dj I know well both sides of the game.DJ's support ur locals learn its our job to break music not to sit on it n then play it once u hear it on the radio r see the video a big part of changing the game is our hands but the biggest thing over all to move on in make a difference we got to get rid of these ego's
