Jay-Z Mentor Jaz-O Addresses Sauce Money Beef, Says He'll Punch Him In The Face [LISTEN] @HipHopWired

As far as rap beefs go, the brewing feud between Jay-Z mentor and rap veteran Jaz-O and a former collaborator, Sauce Money, seemingly appeared out of thin air. Two days ago, aForbez DVD video interview was released featuring Sauce speaking on the Roc-A-Fella Records situation. and he called Jaz-O a piece of “excrement” to keep it PG-rated. Jaz-O responded in kind via a phone call from Tampa, throwing some insults regarding Sauce Money's weight and even touched on his troubles with Hov as well. 

“This fat n---a Sauce talking sh-t,” opens up Jaz immediately. “He a disrespectful motherf---er lookin' for a scapegoat. I feel sorry him for him, you know.  Basically, he's saying I'm a piece of sh-t. I'm a be honest with you, I didn't even listen to the interview but just from the heading, I already knew what he was talking about.”

What Sauce Money was referring to was a reference he made to the Roc-A-Fellas Records split and essentially labeling Jaz-O as the reason he never popped off, although Jaz was responsible in part in getting Jay-Z and other rappers their first shots in the business.  Jaz-O maintains that he tried to bring Sauce Money and Jay-Z together after their falling out, and thinks the diss is coming from a disgruntled place.

Over the course of the 16-minute interview, a lot gets unloaded on the inner workings of their former partnership and its current standing. Jaz-O, who just recently turned 48 earlier this month, also got a bit animated towards the end even after expressing love for his former teammates. Part of that love apparently comes in the form of fisticuffs after Jaz said, “I will come and punch you in the face.” Ouch.
