James Hickey
Guitarist, Vocalist & Arranger
James studied at Berklee College of Music where he mastered in music theory, arrangements for stage band and big bands. He also is accomplished in charting for all idioms.
With a catalog of over 50 original songs, he is no stranger to hard work and loves looking at music with a fresh cord or complicated twist..
James spent 6 years as Band Leader for Louie Fontaine & the Rockets. They performed up and down the west coast rooms including Canada, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Tahoe.
His resume` includes, but is not limited to groups from the North West, The Topix, Jampact, and The News Boys.
After picking up his first guitar at 11 years old and being start struck by the Beatles, he’s been able to make a polished career of playing what he loves most, his guitar.
James is fluent in Jazz, Rock, Funk, Soul and all Standards.
