Best N Tha Game's Bio
Lil E, born Eddie Hicks III on March 24, 1987, shows he has what it takes as a young rap artist. The self-proclamed best in the game proves to be just that on his first solo street album "Best N Tha Game", which is to be released early 2009. Born and raised in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Lil E had no other choice but to have street smarts, but he pursued dreams of playing football before he even thought about expressing his past experiences over the beats. He first began rapping with Mid-South Playaz (MSP), a group that his older brother Play D co-founded, on underground mixtapes. Given the name Lil Insane because of his temper, he then started producing and recording for his own group, Young Bucs' Click (YBC) and later changed his name to Lil E. With YBC, Lil E produced his first album, "The Truth Hurts", on which YBC exploited theirs beefs. The album gained plenty of local attention and Lil E's production and the MSP-sound was at a high demand. Lil E is now putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album and is better than he has ever been. With the swagger and the talent he possesses, Lil E is definately gaining the recognition by many as the best in the game.
