Syd Vicious comes from a Southern background, with an Eastcoast upbringing. Born in Houston Texas, to a mother from Philladelphia, and a father from Detroit, he quickly picked up on the big city mentality. His older brother Steven, who was an avid Hip-Hop fan "raised" Syd in the ways of lyricism and poetic art rather than traditional southern "dance" music. Syd, of course was also influenced by his southern musical background. The result is a dynamic amalgam of styles and rap cultures! Unlike his southern counterparts, Syd focuses on lyricism, hard hitting beats and hooks. "You may even learn something from the same song you can dance to!" So strap in, and enjoy the ride!
