DJ SiVuPlay is the embodiment of today's urban culture. By drawing creativity from everywhere in the musical landscape, SiVuPlay embodies a sophisticated image of DJing mixed with raw talent. Her unique vision, love for music, and overall reputation have made her a strength to be reckoned in the music industry, yet she never stops innovating and moving forward. Her flavour and energy is now instantly recognizable and acknowledged as a potent force around the world. SiVuPlay's accomplishments are already plentiful. She is the Stylus Awards' first-time Female DJ of the Year, an award she was given in 2007 when the category was inaugurated. She is also the first female DJ to be awarded the Up and Coming Flavour Pool DJ Award, a distinction she is particularly honoured to have. She has already been solicited to DJ exclusive parties for A-list celebrities such as Beyoncé Knowles and the All Star Event for Junk Yard Dog, Jerome Williams and NBA superstar Vince Carter. She is now sponsored by Beyoncé's elegant clothing line Dereon by House of Dereon and was the honorary DJ at the brand's Canadian launch party in 2007. DJ SiVuPlay is now the Official DJ for Beyonce's Dereon By House of Dereon. However, her most rewarding accomplishments to date have been her opening sets in front of thousands of fans while opening for multi-platinum artists such as Nelly Furtado, Alicia Keys,and others. Since becoming a professional DJ, she has toured all over North America from the East coast to the West, North, and South. She has also done numerous highly successful gigs throughout Europe and will soon be touring in Asia. The jet-setting high-life of superstar DJs is no stranger to SiVuPlay. She has kept crowds wilder than ever in the hottest clubs of cities such as Toronto, Las Vegas, and London all in the span of one week. She has earned enough experience and stature to truly be recognized as a famous international DJ. In addition to being a seasoned club DJ and mixtape veteran, SiVuPlay is also a natural on-air television and radio personality. She has been seen on national television doing her thing on Much Music's "Much Vibe" and CTV Sportnet's "NBA XL". Her radio appearances began with University of Toronto's CIUT, the cradle of her DJ career. She went on to be featured on Vancouver's 94.5 FM "Beat the Traffic Show", and even has her own weekly show on Montreal's K103 FM.
She has also performed on online music shows featured on NetVuLive. com and IllNoiz. com.
Her new weekly syndicated show will soon premiere on the up-and-coming popular Swurv Radio in Las Vegas seeing as she was most recently added to the station's famous line-up. Moreover, SiVuPlay once again proved her pioneering spirit by being the first female DJ to perform on Canada's top urban radio station The New Flow 93.5 during the "Midday Mix".Whether it's for her fans or for the industry's elite stars, SiVuPlay provides the same energy and appeal to all.
