THE QUESTION OF THE YEAR AND FOR YEARS TO COME IS HIP HOP REALLY DEAD? MANY COLUMNIST AND ARTIST SAY THAT HIP HOP HAS LOST IT"S WAY. LET ME KNOW HOW YOU FEEL LET THE WORLD AND THE HIP HOP COMMUNITY KNOW HOW YOU FEEL................
SOME SAY THE DJ'S ARE SPREADING THE CANCER OF LACK LUSTER MUSIC, OTHERS SAY IT'S THE LABELS THAT KEEP FEEDING THE RADIO THE MUSIC, AND THEN THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT SAY THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS THE CAUSE BY LISTENING TO WHATEVER THE RADIO PLAYS, WHICH CAUSES THEM TO CATCH ON TO THE WATER DOWN MUSIC AND BEGAN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SPREAD OF THE CANCER.(SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES)

Record labels are destroying hip hop by basically putting nothing but ignorance out on cds and the airwaves. Everything is about image and "look at me" and "look at what I got", etc. Hip hop is alive in those of us who keep it pure, to those of us that talk about real, everyday life experiences in their rhymes. Hip hop isn't dead, it just needs a wake up call. Really, what's wrong with being "Regular"? Not regular as in average or vanilla, but regular in the sense that you're good people, approachable and are going to be the same, real person no matter what life throws at you. Not looking for that shameless plug but peep the music.

Hip Hop is NOT dead; it has evolved, just as things in life usually do! No, it's not what it was back in the day, but what is? Things that are old usually become new again, if that makes sense; it'll be what it once was again at some point in the future, but right now it's playing a different role!
