May 25,1989 a star was born by the name of Garnel Mondelus. Garnel who was formly known as {Twist} is from the city of North Miami, Florida. Garnel comes from a family of nine brother and three sister's, he claims his family and friends our his number one supporters.At a young age Garnel watched his older brother GHOST battle at parties,and kick freestlye on the porch of their house.Garnel found that really amusing and decided to give it a try. Most upcoming rappers has a favorite Artist or someone who influenced them to Rap. In Garnel's case his big brother GHOST was his inspiration, and his favorite Artist varied from time to time. Garnel admires hip hop icons like 2-PAC,NAS,JAY-Z,THE DREAM,KANYE WEST,LIL WAYNE,RICK ROSS,JUELZ SANTANA,FABOLOUS AND AKON.Elementary school was his personal stage and his personal microphone.He use to sit in class rapping trying to come up with great metaphors to bring home for his big brothers to listen to. There were times when he felt like giving up because no matter how hard he tried, the llyrics were not coming out like how he wanted them to. Middle school hit, Garnel fell in Poetry,why? he figured that it was a good way to impress the girls he had a crush on. Little did he know writting poetry was increasing his skill level for his music career.Right before Garnel graduated Thomas Jefferson Middle, his brother's fromed a Group by the name of [Ghost Boyz]. Garnel Joined the group and began recording at a local closet studio right down the street from his house. Like Most upcoming studios all they had was one Mic,Two speakers,and a vocal booth, which is all you need !!!. The group created great songs and performed at local venues, where local Artist like GRINDMODE,BALLGREEZY,SMOKEY,CUTTAMAN and NONSENCE have performed, better known as the Larry Dogg Movement. In 2006 the group performed at club Metropolis for a super bowl party with BALLGEEZY and SMOKEY, which was sponsored by 99 jamz.Late 2007 the group fell apart and Garnel Decided to go solo...... GARNEL STATES "Joining my brother's group helped me alot, it helped me with my stage presence,my recording, and most importantly it was great Practice, because man I'VE CAME A LOOOONG WAY !!! ". Now being a solo Artist did'nt come easy either, because it took SELF DISCIPLINE and lot's of DETERMINATION.Garnel came storming out with his first hit single "Lil Momma",which was blazing the airwaves from Miami,Philly and Wisconsin, known at that time as {TWIST}. Being a solo artist and under his own label M.A.D.E MUSIC [MONEY ALWAYS DETERMINE EVERYTHING] made it really hard to push out "Lil Momma" like he intended.Garnel has now teamed up with Bass House Entertainment to help him pursue his dream. Garnel now feels that there’s no way he could lose, especially with GOD on his side. Failing is not an option SUCCESS LIES IN THY SELF....
