LORDS OF THE UNDERGROUND ARTIST “DOITALL” TO DROP FIRST SOLO ALBUM “AMERICAN DU” ON MAY 4, 2010

New York, N.Y.- (April 15, 2010)- It was announced today that Du Kelly, known as “Doitall” from 90’s Hip-Hop Group “Lords of the Underground”, will drop his first solo album on May 4, 2010. “Doitall” is called “A hip-hopper who is becoming legendary with every flow” and known for his “graspy” delivery on hits such as “Funky Child” & “Chief Rocka”. January 12, 2011 will mark his 20th Anniversary in the industry.

Doitall is also an accredited SAG actor who has acquired independent film & television roles on shows such as 30 Rock and Law & Order on NBC and Soprano’s (HBO), just to name a few. “Doitall” has also established himself as an executive with Michael Bivins’ (New Edition, BBD) company Sporty Rich Enterprises. In addition to, CEO of a branding and marketing company called LORD GANG WORLDWIDE and LORD GANG DJz. To his entrepreneurial launching of a skateboard line. When asked what made him go into the skateboard direction, he says, “I always think outside the box, my secret passion was to open a skateboard/snowboarding shop. As a kid, I was never really good at skateboarding, but I always liked it and when I saw how the skateboarding community embraced hip-hop…it was like a no brainer, so I thought why not fulfill my dream and create boards for music lovers”.

His Solo Debut album, titled “American Du”, was given to him as a nickname amongst his travels to Europe. He says, “Many individuals in Europe would ask where I am from and I would say Newark, NJ and what they really were asking is what is my origin. In Europe most of them know exactly where their ancestors came from. I explained in America all we know is we have African

origin, so I just stuck with the name.” He says, the album is “Adult Contemporary Hip Hop”, with no particular age limit. You just have to be considered as an adult. An adult is not determined by your age, it’s by your responsibility within your culture. The elements of Hip-Hop always has expressed how you lived the culture of hip-hop. This album expresses how I am living the culture,

now.”

American Du, has a star-studded production team that includes Grammy Award winning producer, Scott Storch, Pete Rock and The Real Focus. Guest appearances from Grammy Award winning rapper Treach, Mr. Cheeks and legendary MCs like Masta Ace and Craig G. The album is stores on May 4, 2010.
