Whats up people My Name is DJ Sickness i live In Richmond Indiana Midwest baby. Ive been DJing for about 9 years now started off doing techno but i fell in love with Hip hop and then i saw DJ Qbert at a rave doing a six yes 6 table set i was amazed. Then i started getting into hip hop and when i heard Jayz's let the song cry on the unplugged albam and i fell hard for hip hop thats when i knew i had to get in the game. As i get in front of a crowd and do my thang its like a new drug. I started doing lil gigs like my friends partys and the bowling alli shot out to graig coleman for letting me play to the crowd it was my real first gig even tho i didnt get payed but it didnt matter i felt like the man when i got behind the tables and put my head phones on. I met a DJ at my local collage station mixing hip hop. I called up and asked if he had any rakim and he was like at the crib but he asked me if i wanted to hear anything else and i said sure what you got he said ill play Vergina by clipse i was like cool. That next friday i went meet him. His name is DJ Solo Assasin man he taught me shit that i had no idea of. Bpms, scratching, mixing opened alot of shit to me and if it wasnt for him I think i wouldnt be as far as i am today. So Thank You Solo. I made my first MIXTAPE called The Sickness mixape only 20 are around i copyed them myself and sold them for 3 bucks it was a good mix. Made a few after that but nothing big YET. I got a gig at a local bar called Main street bar and grill it was good fun to do for like the first 4 months untill the bartender quit and some old lady started bartending only wanting to hear country music and then she told me one night to stop play hip hop cuz to many blacks were coming in i was like im out OUT you feel me. I love being in front of a crowb and my fav place to play right now is Walkers i love that crowd. Then a few months lata i got a message from i guy named Smuve From Iron Fist Ent wanting to know if i wanted to be down with the camp i was like cool. So im here today looking to get big not to make alot of money but to to do it for the love of hip hop. So in the words of biggy IM DOWN FOR CHASING THE DREAM. So hit me on Twitter @djsickness765 and lets get the party poppin.
