Why should DJs accept low quality mp3s? Starfleet Music Pool Our DJs prefers 320kbps

I'm curious, do your DJs not care about the quality of mp3s you receive? Our crew prefers 320kbps mp3s. Many of the mp3s that we receive through this system range between 128kbps & 192kbps. That quality probably sound good on an iPod or a mixtape, but on a hot club system or a mixshow, it's not good at all! I realize that labels large & small send them mp3s out like this, but we all need to make sure that we receive the highest quality versions of their music otherwise, why would a company spend so much money in a studio mastering their music only to dumb it down to a low quality mp3? Doesn't make since. Also, the majority of the mp3s are neither named or tagged properly, which means that I spend the majority of my week trying to fix this digital mess rather than working the music. If you'd like to see how to setup digital music properly go to, http://www.starfleetmusic.com/record_pool/index.php?option=com_cont... on our site. If labels want us to support their music then they need to send it to us properly & care about the quality of their music. First impressions are everything, especially at a time when we receive hundreds of mp3s per week. If it's not the best quality, then it will be passed over & lost in the digital hell forever. Help us to play the best quality versions of your music the first time, not wait for days or weeks on end to get the 320kbps versions.
