Starfleet Music Pool DJs prefer 320kbps mp3s, plus hard copies when available

I'm curious, do DJs not care about the quality of mp3s they receive? Our crew prefers 320kbps mp3s, plus hard copies, vinyl & or CDs, when available. Many of the mp3s that we receive through this system range between 128kbps & 192kbps. That quality probably sound good on an iPod or a mixtape, but on a hot club system or a mixshow, it's not good at all! I realize that labels large & small send them mp3s out like this, but we all need to make sure that we receive the highest quality… Continue
