Do you organize events that promote unsigned and independent Urban music artists?

We are seeking event promoters who hold open mics, showcases and other events that give local artists exposure and performance experience to work with us in sponsoring a showcase around our Black college tour. www.myspace.com/ndgametour

The NDaGame Black College Football Games Tour 2010 is a promo tour for independent Urban music artists built around HBCU Classics, Homecomings and popular Home games around the South. This year we have events in 6 states (AL, FL, GA, MS, SC, TN), at 8 games involving 14 Black colleges from September to November. Attendance at these events range from a low of 20,000 to a high of 100,000 persons. The audience has a national make up. The potential to impact 1 million college students, young adults, alumni and football fans exists. The plan is for you to sponsor a Basic Membership package for participation in up to 3 game dates of the artist's choosing from our season schedule (8 games). There are also advertising and promotions benefites that are also received by the artist including:

--Artist can perform for each day we are operational which is usually Friday and on Saturday (Game Day). Friday show time is set up depending on when they get into town and check-in with us. Performance time is 10-12 minutes.

--Artist will get multiple performances on Saturday subject to total number of acts scheduled. We can do an average of 5 acts per hour and we're usually doing 8-12 hour days so unless we get something like 50 acts on a single day we have time to offer at least a second show slot to our members.

--Artist can display their sign or banner on stage during their performance.

--Artist receives online promotion through all NDaGame Tour related websites. (We will be taking photos and videos of each show and will be doing interviews and footage of performances for after-event marketing)

--Artist gets 1 song on NDaGame digital compilation CD.

--Artist gets 1 song broadcast on WRUGRadio.com and DKE Radio special NDaGame Tour playlist.

--Artist has rights to distribute their flyers, promo items and sell their music merchandise to the public (not a vendor space but walk-around hand-to-hand). We will attempt to have an area set up near the stage where artist can offer their music for sale during their performance time.

--Artist receives hotel discounts through our travel assistance affiliate website with Hotels.com. They must book online through our special reservation banners on our website below or go through this link: http://travel.ian.com/index.jsp?cid=261177
After they have completed their stay they can go back to this site and apply for a rebate up to $100. But they must book online, not contact the hotel direct.

--Artist will participate in a couple of tour orientation conference calls and receive a written performance schedule for each show and tour newsletter to keep them informed of developments and other appearance opportunities.

--Tour membership is based on 1 individual artist or 1 group act. Artist may bring along their guest feature artist they may have on a song they want to perform but that guest artist will be be permitted to perform their own show. Hypeman, dancers, background singers, etc. can come along to help the artist do a concert level show. No substitions are allowed if member artist cannot attend a show.

What do you have to do?

Set up a Showcase event for your choice of a 1 night affair or a series of shows with round-robin eliminations leading to the Grand Prize of a place on the NDaGame Black College Tour.

-- You may charge a screening or registration fee for participation in the showcase. We recommend $25 but not more than $50 or whatever is the accepted norm in your region.

-- You may charge admission to the public to attend the event

-- You may allow artists to audition with either their radio or club version of their song but their performance on the tour must be radio-edit clean, free of any profanity.

-- You may select the Grand Prize winner by any means you decide

-- You may keep all proceeds from the showcase event

Obtain a License from us to hold the event which covers the 3-game Basic Membership Package as described on our websites. This is a 50% discount off the regular membership rate level.

-- You will list the Grand Prize as a spot on the NDaGame Black College Football Games Tour or NDaGame Black College Tour -- not HBCU college tour. The phrase HBCU is not to be used at all as a shorthand title for this tour.

-- You will disclose that the spot on the tour is for up to 3 dates or a 3 games schedule and the artist can choose their own dates. If they choose less than 3 games there is no proration or cash equivelant given for unused parts of the package. Artists are responsible for their own transportation, hotel accomodations and meals. All performances on the tour must be radio-edit clean and completely free of any profanity.

-- You will use the Atlanta's NDaGame Entertainment logo in your promo materials and website but you do not have to list us as a sponsor or presenter of the showcase.

-- We will post your event on our websites and promote it using our online resources; provide us with a flyer and your website link where your show is being featured.

-- You will share your sign up list with us so we can offer the runner ups an opportunity to be a part of the tour at a special membership rate.
