The vocals in Captive are distant and hollow, following a smooth tone, with sexy and dark lyrics. The visual does a great job at backing up these lyrics by creating a moonlit R&B presentation, that shows his craving for his lover and their relationship with suggestive come-ons. With sensual visuals, the video is sure to show a sentimental and enticing feel. The video is sure to create that vibrant yet alluring vibe that makes listeners reminisce on their life cycle of love and commitment.
Captive is taken in one long shot allowing the audience to experience the journey within the music video first hand. With subtle inspirations from movie Fifty Shades of Grey, director Yuya Ohashi (Y.O! Photo) puts a unique twist on the concept blind folding a woman who uses her sense of touch to navigate throughout the video. Produced by The Remix Project Chicago Recording Arts Director Jack Flash, Captive
