With Public Endorsement from Lupe Fiasco, The Boy Illinois Releases His Latest Single from DuSable: Ruling Class!!

As he gears up for Home Court Advantage, The Boy Illinois is coming off of a successful reign with his former project DuSable, by debuting the EP's last single "Ruling Class" featuring Drey Skonie. Ruling Class welcomes us into the psyche of Illi, where his passion  and the conscious account of self awareness and value, as well as his love and cultivation of our community reside. "Ruling Class", produced by 25th Floor and directed by FlyKite, also pays homage to the classic "If I Ruled the World" by Nas and Lauryn Hill with a modernized interpretation. The Boy Illinois gives an account of his world, with the melodic voice of Drey Skonie floating in the background with the retro hook. The scenery is set in the exclusive Gold Pyramid House, a testament to Illi's acknowledgement of history, culture, and what distinguishes us, one from another.
