The Mile High represented at last…
Dedication, determination and self-reliance are just a few of the characteristics that describe the nature of Colorado’s newest budding rap artist, Comma tha Connect. Known locally by many as a freestyle king, his smooth and melodic flows leave listeners hypnotized by not only his voice but his words as well. Realizing he had the ability to rap at the age of sixteen, Comma has been steadily earning a local fan base with his ability to put together words with ease.
Although his launch into the rap game has been fairly recent his track record would seem to prove otherwise. Comma first began his grind with the creation of StreetFame Inc., a local promotions company that would make him co-owner as well as CEO of the record label portion of it. By putting in work at the street level, hustling and promoting various local events, Comma was able to network and meet with a lot of people who eventually lifted his level of credibility in the streets. Having networked with so many people, Comma has been fortunate to collaborate with local heavy hitters such as DJ K-Tone, DJ Quote, and Don Juan and Slim of Big Money Entertainment as well as many others.
Born Giovanni Moore, Comma is a Colorado native and proud of it. Having lived all over the metro area in such cities as Aurora, Denver, and even the suburbs of Lone Tree, Comma has definitely seen what it’s like living life on both ends of the spectrum. Although that experience has certainly added value to his outlook on life, he definitely claims the streets of the eastside of Denver to be his true home because that’s where most of his time was spent. Representing for the mile high state is extremely important to him because hustling and being keen to what goes on in the streets has been a major influence on his music. In fact, rapping for the streets of Denver and being prideful for his city has become his passion. When asked what inspires him to do his music his response was “...for three things: the fans, my personal enjoyment and for the streets”.
However, Comma’s talents extend way beyond his lyrical attributes because whenever Comma isn’t seen grinding and promoting his music on the streets he can be seen grinding on his skateboard perfecting his moves as an amateur skateboarder. Already sponsored by such companies as Us or Nuffin, Big Money Ent., Certified Customs and StreetFame Inc., Comma hopes to make a career out of skateboarding as well.
At the speed for which Comma tha Connect is being sought after for various collabo’s and events, Comma is sure to be the new voice to truly represent the mile high streets of Denver, Colorado.
