3 SHOT AT THE PENTAGON WTF?
Two Pentagon police officers were shot at the Metro entrance to the Pentagon before 7 p.m. Thursday.
The gunman also was shot, according to a defense official. It is unknown if the wounded officers returned fire. One person reportedly is in custody, and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency is investigating.
It is unknown whether the shooting was random.
The officers reportedly were taken to George Washington University Hospital. Their conditions are unknown, as is the condition of the shooter.
The Pentagon is locked down and the Pentagon Metro Station is closed.
Trains are diverting to the Pentagon City Metro Station. Shuttle bus service has been requested, according to Metro. Rail riders can expect delays.
