Celebrating half a decade of connecting emerging artists with music industry professionals, Verseus Entertainment Group commemorates its immeasurable accomplishments with the Almost Famous Five-Year Anniversary Show. Scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at Sub Zero in Underground Atlanta, the star-studded festivities include the annual Almost Famous Awards ceremony and comedic celebrity roast.


“The majority of the most influential recording artists today started as independents,” says VEG founder Rovella Williams. “Our mission is to lead those aspiring artists down the right path. The Anniversary Show is our way of recognizing those who are well on their way to stardom.” This year Clay Evans, the VP of Grand Hustle, Devyne Stephens of Upfront Entertainment and Johnnie Cabbell of Hitt Afta Hitt Enterprises are among individuals being honored for there role in helping shape the face of mainstream music. In addition, Grand Hustle Records will receive the coveted Almost Famous Independent Label of the Year Award. Past award recipients include Platinum Producers DJ Toomp and Bangladesh, Konvict-Live/Interscope Recording Artist Rock City, Grand Hustle/Atlantic Recording Artist BoB, and last years Independent Record Label of the year Colliepark Music.
