TTell us about you and your career?
I was born and raised in Flatbush Brooklyn, but spent some of my youth living in North Miami. I’ve always had a passion for music which led me to Hip Hop and rapping since I couldn’t sing worth a damn. My career in this business has been a roller coaster with lots ups and downs. I’m definitely on my way back up now.

What does hiphop stand for today?
For me hip hop stands for everything it did in the beginning, from being your own individual, creative self expression and just good music. To the masses today it’s all about record sales. It’s all business. The business aspect has swallowed everything Hip Hop truly stands for. I would like to be part of the resistance.

Is HipHop dying, like most artists are saying?
As long as they are MCs like me capable of proving the industry wrong, Hip Hop will never die. You have artists who try to kill hip hop knowingly and unknowingly by blending genres but overall in my eyes Hip Hop is alive and kicking!

What is your biggest obstacle?
My biggest obstacle right now is grinding in this game with a limited budget. The days of getting on strictly on your skill alone are over. Labels as well as DJs want you to have your own buzz. They want to see you make huge progress on your own. My biggest obstacle is money.

How do you feel about local radio?
In certain cities local radio support their artists. In NYC, I will just say things work a bit differently. I wish things were different but it is what it is.

What other artists do you respect for their game?
I respect Nipsey Hussle and his grind. I’ve watched from the sideline and I definitely respect how far he’s come and it’s just the beginning for him.

How do you deal with haters and myspace gangsters?
I’m from the street and a MySpace gangster is something to laugh at. Anyone can be tough in the comfort of their own home. Haters inspire me and that’s a sign of success for me.

What is your take on our economy?
The economy is really messed up right now. A lot of people I know are struggling to make ends meet. I certainly wish things were better for me and my home boys. I believe things will eventually get better. You just have to keep grinding through these rough times.

Who would you like to do a feature with and why?
I would love to work with Nicki Minaj. In my opinion, she is the most relevant new artist coming out NY aside from myself she’s better than a lot of these whack rappers getting shine give or take a few who stand out. Plus she’s gorgeous.

What is your opinon on Kanye's outburst at every event?
Kanye is Kanye - love him or leave him alone. He is an unbelievable artist and producer and I have an extreme amount of respect for him. I would love to one day work with him.

What is your advice for an upcoming rapper?
One must study this business the way you would study your craft. The business aspect of this game is the key to your success. Disregard that and your career is over before it even started.
