As a Child Kp da block boy was raised in a single parent home so his mother played the role of a Father figure and a Mother Figure teaching Kp Da Block Boy about life
known as the codes of the streets.Despite all the Negative energy thru out the hood Kp discovered he had a burning desire for music so at a very young age he join he's Jr.High School Band
but due to so much stress in his life after 2 months he dropped out of his Jr.High School marching band and started hanging on the block more and more
doing what block boy's do best hustle.After being locked up for more than a year
Kp discovered his talent was valuable and realize writing lyrics was hood Therapy
more so medicine to heal his broken heart.
From surviving run ins with the cops to dodging bullets to making records
Kp's first song was recorded with Jennifer Hudson in 2004 after J Hud ask Kp to feat.on a track
That she originally wanted Ludacris on.After that is was all she wrote Kp found himself more and more in the studio and off the Notorious Block's of Englewood.

he heard Kp Da Block Boy was burning up the streets of Chi on the underground
music sene.Bossolo tracked Kp Da Block Boy down and with no procastination flew him out to Cali
and with no time to waiste got KP in the studio.
