“When I wrote ‘Bangin Yo Head Up Against the Wall,’ I was watching the economic devastation of America and people doing what they have to do (Legal or illegal) to survive the economic recession,” Turner said. “Like President- elect Obama, I feel it is time for change and time to speak directly to the people. This is my positive statement to the new America.”

Originally featured on their “Back to the Funk” album, “Bangin’ Yo Head Up Against the Wall” carries a powerful message that is relevant in today’s society. It features Henry Turner, Jr. on lead vocals, guitar, bass, drums and backup vocals, Ronnie Houston on drums, Kenny Dearing backup vocals, bass and percussion, Jack Kelly on backup vocals and percussion, and special guests Dusty Lightfoot Cashio and Jocita Williams on backup vocals.
