LA's DJ Hideo Passes Away After Year-Plus Long Battle With Cancer

In Los Angeles, California, the famous DJ who went around by the name of DJ Hideo died, finally giving in to his colon cancer. The disk jockey was 42 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2009. His lever and colon were giving him severe pain. It was stated in his website that on Saturday 24th April, he was experiencing weakness due to which he was brought to a hospital in Orange County. When he arrived at the hospital his vitals were stable. But after some time he started feeling extreme pain and needed a ventilator to help in breathing.

He told the doctors that when his time of departure comes they should not try to resuscitate him. He also requested that he didn’t want any visitors at the time of his death, and only allowed his family to be near him.
At 3:22 pm Saturday 24th April, 2010, DJ Hideo passed away peacefully in the company of his family. The way he passed away and the things he said before passing away tells us how much he was in peace with death. It is as if he embraced death with open arms, and that is probably the reason he went away with ease.

His close friends and fans left messages on his website saying you will be missed and rest in peace.

One of the disc jockey’s close friends, DJ K-Sly furnished details about the state of DJ Hideo through a social networking site on Friday in which it had been revealed that the 41 year old disc jockey was in a lot of pain in the last few days of his life. Moreover, DJ Hideo himself is said to have published a blog on his official website on early Saturday in which he had mentioned that he was getting hospitalized at a California based medical facility as he was feeling increasingly weak. He reportedly died just a few hours later.

DJ Hideo had some financial problems and he wasn’t insured for his health, that’s why his hospital bill was a big blow to his family, which was $1 million. For this reason his website is accepting donations for the funeral of the late disk jockey. - http://www.Hideo.com

Had the pleasure of knowing Hideo... Played a cub set him on an occasion or two. Talk about bumble... No one was more humble than Hideo. I've been in this business we call music for 40+ years, meet a lot of people. I can honestly say I NEVER heard anyone say anything but Good Words about Hideo.
