Man Bleached His Girlfriend’s Entire Home, All Her Clothes, And Then Threw Bleach In Her Face Because She Wouldn’t Give Him Any Of Her Tax Refund Money

A 24-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he assaulted his girlfriend, destroyed her phone and bleached her and her belongings, according to the Herald in Rock Hill, S.C. USA

According to the police report, Clarence Reid became annoyed with his girlfriend when she refused to share her income tax refund with him.

Rock Hill police say Reid became “so irate” that he smashed her new cell phone, broke her old cell phone as well, and then slapped her. Police say she asked him to leave, but he refused and then poured bleach all over her clothes and on her, too.

She left the residence and called the police.

When police arrived, they witnessed bleach burns on her skin and also said the home smelled strongly of the substance.

Reid was no longer in the home, but police located him a few blocks away and placed him under arrest, although he denied slapping her and claimed she poured bleach on him before he poured it on her.

He was charged with damaging personal property and criminal domestic violence.
