Mota is the President of one of the most important dj crews in hiphop,The Sucker Proof DJs,"I was tired of sucka djs not even taking the time to listen to my music or give me a chance,so I started a dj crew with some of the most talented djs in the world,I felt I could use my team to get behind these djs to give them support, it was my way of saying screw all the djs that wouldn't give me a chance, and giving back to those that did"!It's that take no prisoners and I'm my brothers keeper attitude that has made Mota one of the most influental independent hiphop artist on the rise.

Mota is challenging the music industry way of doing things."Alot of rappers say they are independent but still have to answer to someone, I only answer to god,I'm really independent".He means what he says,Mota has established not only a hit radio show and dj crew,but also has created his own media company with his popular website MotaHipHop.com, where you can find the latest news in hiphop and download music from underground and mainstream artist from around the world."I don't rely on someone to decide that they will play my song on their radio show,or write an article about me in thier magazine, I rely on myself and my team,we have our own outlets that we have worked really hard to establish, and our brand is highly respected".

With all that on Mota's plate you would think his hands were full,but the hustle don't stop there.Mota is getting ready to release his album entitled,Struggleville U.S.A,what he says is "The Most important musical project to come out of Florida in a long time".Mota is currently filming his reality show called ,The Making of Struggleville U.S.A, wich airs January 1st 2010, the show follows Mota on his year long journey behind the scenes as he records his album."I'm about to make history and change the musical landscape, people are expecting a certain sound because I'm from Florida, but I'm going to exceed those expectations,this is my best work ever" says Mota!
