After a successful 2016 campaign that saw 3 award nominations (2016 Southern Ent. Award Mixtape DJ of the Year, 2016 SCM Award Best Mixtape DJ, & 2016 Allstar Mixtape Awards Rising Star DJ of the Year), the release of 100+ mixtapes, & a successful stint as a Tour DJ, joining Ricco Barrino for the Texas leg of the "Connect Da Dots Tour," DJ Rico Banks aka Rico Panacea is gearing up for the release of his 4th album.

"Hugo Van Banks" picks up where his 3rd album "Levil Devels" left off. "Hugo Van Banks" features a returning Purp, who was featured on Panacea's 2015 album "Day-Rest" & 2016 album "Levil Devels." The album also introduces the world to the sounds of two new artists, Nerdy Derdy & Dyrect Lynk. While gearing up to release a new album Rico Panacea is also focusing on his "Get The Bag" campaign.

"Get The Bag" is a campaign I started with my friend and manager Brian Anthony, said Banks. "We feel like "Get The Bag" is along the same lines as what DJ Khaled was trying to get across to people. They don't wanna see you successful. Secure the bag. We feel like you have to get the bag before you can secure the bag." "Get The Bag" is the mixtape campaign for all 2017. We getting the bag all year, said Banks. "Hugo Van Banks" is slated to be released on January 13, 2017.
