Theme Song Competition
Favorite song selected by members. Winner receives $1,000.
Largest NC Car club will be using music on their DVDs, short clip trailers, during car shows, etc. We're looking for some seriously hyped up theme songs. If you've ever imaged doing a soundtrack for FAST & FURIOUS then you know what to do. If you were a member would you like for your name to be mentioned or your ride to be spoken about? Don't forget we have models who are apart of the RITS as well. Most members reside in NC. Check out the photos and videos for hints or material for making a theme song the members may favor. And don't be afraid to contact some of them. They may be able to give you some juicy information about their whips.
RULES: You must come off as either a proud member of the RITS, a fan or a automobile enthusiast. No "N"-word use, no swearing or cursing. All music must be original. No sampling or use of industry beats. RITS members may compete, but will not be eligible to win. All genres are welcome, including ROCK & ROLL, R&B, etc. If we reach a tie in the competition the artists will have the option by voting for either 1) competing for the tie breaker -$25, or 2) allowing the winner to be selected from judges within dj pools and national record labels.
All songs that are approved will be used for promotional purposes. The RITS will be producing a movie the summer of 2009 and will use a selection of the submitted songs on the soundtrack. The movie will go straight-to-DVD and will have distribution. A second DVD/cd product will be released in 2010 for complimentary & promotional purposes with a smaller distribution from Charlotte to Raleigh of North Carolina. A tour will be organized based on the distribution points for RITS club car show-offs and artist performances from the soundtrack. This will give artist an opportunity to increase fan base, connect with publications and independent media, meet & greet other artist with collaboration interest and most importantly develop consumer interest.
$25 Entry fee. (Entry fee will be $50 starting March 15th)
Contest ends: June 25, 2009
An event will be held were members of the RITS will listen to and select the winner.
