God Fun Fact: God is my name in your Book of eternal life?

Scripture: Revelation 21:27 “Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Lesson Learned: Whenever a person goes to an expensive hotel to stay for vacation, they must make reservations prior to their arrival for special rooms or the presidential suites.

The individual prepares in advance by working hard to save the money for this luxury hotel vacancy. Over in Dubai there is a hotel that will cost you $28,000 per night and it is underwater. Celebrities stay there all the time. When the person arrives the hotel receptionist takes the persons name and information to pull them up in the system to make sure they are legit and really suppose to be there. Once the name is verified, they are handed keys to their room to enjoy their stay. Also, every person is accommodated with his or her own personal concierge for enjoyment and the hotel acknowledges the fact they have been expecting them.

This same concept applies to the spiritual things God Almighty has ordained for His people when we leave earth someday. I grew up in church with the assumption all good people automatically go straight to Heaven at death. After my college years it was explained to me that only through Jesus Christ could a persons go to Heaven. Just like my luxury hotel analogy makes sense to all of us the same applies to entering Heaven. Our names must be written in the Lamb’s Book Of Life. Who is the Lamb? Jesus Christ is the innocent Lamb who was slain for our sin on the cross. Once we trust and believe in Him immediately our names are written in His eternal book. Let me note your name can be erased out of the book as well. This is why the Bible tells us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. I am saved right now, but if I want to violate God’s Holy standard all I have to do is look up porn right now on the Internet and begin to ruin everything Jesus has done for me. It is just that simple. We will get to Heaven’s gates and the Book will be open to check for your reservation to enter in. if your name isn’t found we all know the alternative to Heaven. But when your name is found you will hear the most beautiful words ever said to you, “Well done my good and faithful servant enters into Heaven forever.” Let us rejoice for that special day that is coming sooner than we all think. Our Savior is soon to return let us remain faithful and working diligently for the World to see. God Bless.
