Picture Allan Wade was born in Harlem, New York. He and his sister were raised by their mother. Although Allan has fond memories of his childhood he recalls those times were tough. The three of them lived in a two bedroom apart. As
a single parent on public assistance his mother preserved by going to
school to provide a better way of life for her children. Life
gradually improved and when asked how his upbringing affected his
outlook on life Wade replied, “I am blessed to see how it is to be in an
unfortunate situation and make it out. It drives me and keeps me motivated.”

Allan became serious about his craft in 2007. I asked Allan how he knew that this was the profession that he wanted to devote himself to. “I more so sing for the love of the music. I want to share something
beautiful with the world. But when it's all said and done we all need to
sustain ourselves so why not try to make some capital from something
you love so much.”Wade started his own production company http://www.adubb.com. He
has been singing for seventeen years and just released his first album “Rockin With Da Best” by A-Dubb in November of ’09. His influences are The Isley Brothers, Micheal Jackson, Baby Face and Maxwell to name a few. Allan
has an upcoming performance at a charity event to raise funds for
brain-stem surgery for a paraplegic; for additional information visit
weloveuadubb@yahoo.com.

Allan recommends that new artist learn the art of organization. It is
important to store your lyrics in a file to make the copyright process
easier. His heart felt message to aspiring artists is to; “Be real with
yourself on what it is that is doable with your talent level. For
example If you’re a singer sometimes you may be a better writer bottom
line just be real with yourself because you can never get back lost
time. Find ways of doing things yourself if things are not happening for
you. Always showcase your talent.”
