THE 3148S – SANCTUARY

Following the most traditional path to massive commercial success, The 3148s are a group of trial lawyers who formed a band named after insurance legislation (Section 3148 of the no-fault code).

They have played bars and clubs around Detroit for the past four years and released their first EP, called Domestic Bliss, right before the world shut down in 2020.

They wrote the new EP entirely by file-sharing during the lockdown.

They didn’t play these songs together until they recorded them at Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak, MI (birthplace of Greta Van Fleet).

Their new EP, Sanctuary, was released on March 26, 2021, and the songs represent their time in quarantine and the frustration, isolation, and introspection associated with it.
