We are planning several events in memory of our Angels that have been victims of a violent crime that caused them to lose their lives. We would like to obtain a building where parents, family members and friends can meet and express their feelings of grief and loss with others that share these same feelings. The place will be called “Fellowship Hall”.

I am a mother of a child that was murdered by such a crime. My son Alonzo Daniels died at the hand of Arthur Gary Bishop along with four other boys over the course of four years. My son was missing from 1979 until he was discovered along with the other four boys on July 24, 1983. Even though this was awhile ago, the pain is just as intense as if it happened yesterday. This is why we are planning a project called “Fellowship Hall”. There will be a grand opening when it is finished and ready for use. The tentative completion date is July 24, 2012.

Between now and February 2011 the proceeds from the events and shows produced by Black Pearl Industry Inc. will go back to the community as well as towards the building fund for the “Fellowship Hall”. The first show we are planning will be held on June 20, 2009 at the Salt Lake Community College 4600 South Redwood Road. I would like to extend an invitation to your company for any monetary donations and other assistance in respect to audio equipment, lighting, printing, transportation and venues for this event and any of the events to follow.
