Cartiyaè Pascal is a 12 year old rapper out of Grand Rapids, Michigan known as Yung Cartie. Yung Cartie is signed to Poor Rich Ent.

Yung Cartie's parents Jerry and Ashley Pascal noticed Yung Cartie started to show an interest in music around 3 years of age.

It wasn't until around the age of 8 YUNG CARTIE started writing his own lyrics an finding beats.

Yung Cartie's passion for music really came to life when his father was facing deportation. Writing music became Yung Cartie's outlet to be able to express how he was feeling.

Yung Cartie and his family took a trip to Atlanta to meet and sign up with the Marketing Guru Pinky Redd Founder of PR Marketing Firm. While in Atlanta Pinky Redd linked Yung Cartie up with his very FIRST interview on Hits92.3 as soon he landed. Yung Cartie also had a chance to work with a few producers and studios while in Atlanta. Ark Studios and Black Hole Studioz were the two studios he recorded his 4 new tracks at. Yung Cartie was even able to get his beats from Grammy nominated producer Jak Brown owner of Black Hole Studioz. Yung Cartie really enjoy working Jak at his studio.
