Baby Tone, real name Antonio Cooper-Lopez, was born in Lansing, Michigan, in the US, on December 1st, 1996. Since 2018, the American rapper and singer has been creating music that is a unique blend of pop, rap, trap, emo, and rock.
Baby Tone had his introduction to the music scene when he moved to New York to work with his close hometown friend Sam Hyde. Hyde, who is best known for his production on Dusty Locane’s breakout track, “Rollin N Controllin”, Met Antonio in elementary school.

Antonio’s first time recording in the studio was at only 3 years old, inspired by his family’s love for music he recorded his first ever ad-libs. He grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Three-Six Mafia, Notorious Big and other greats across all genres. First beginning to rap and sing on YouTube at just 11 years old, he later began producing and posting his own original music on SoundCloud when he was 19. A few years later he moved to New York to collaborate with the culture there. Since then, he’s recently released local favorites “Bae One” and “Your Love”. His mix of styles has been compared to the likes of “Juice Wrld”, “Lil Tjay” and “The Kid Laroi”
