I was in the pub with the mrs last night for valentines and I said, "I love you."
She asked, "Is that you or the beer talking?"
I replied: "It's me..... talking to the beer!!"

"Spent the afternoon listening to self-improvement tapes. Now I'm feeling a little inadequate because I don't have them on CDs."

A teacher was reviewing her class's homework assignment.
She asked Susie to stand up and tell the class what part of the human body enlarges to seven times its original size when stimulated.
Susie stood up, shuffled her feet and said, "Well, I think I know, but I'm too embarrassed to tell you."
The teacher said, "Sit down, Susie. Johnny, tell the class what part of the human body enlarges to seven times its size when stimulated."
Johnny said, "That's easy. The pupil of the eye enlarges to seven times its original size when stimulated by light."
The teacher said, "That's right, Johnny."
Then she turned to Susie and said, "Susie, first of all, you didn't do your homework. Second, you have a dirty mind. And third, when you get married, you're in for a big disappointment."

"I toss and turn for hours until I realize that making a salad isn't going to relax me."

A man arrives at the theatre to see the latest production only to learn that it is completely sold out.
He finds an usher and pleads with him, "You must help me, I am a HUGE theatre fan. I've been to every
opening night performance at this theatre for twenty years. I can't bear to miss this play, is there any possible way you can find me a seat?"
The usher says he'll see what he can do.
A few minutes later the usher returns and tells the man he has found him a vacant seat.
He leads him inside the theatre to be seated.
A few moments later the man is waving for the usher again.
He whispers to the usher, "This play is a mystery, and I LOVE mysteries. But I have to watch a mystery close up. Get me a better seat, and I'll give you a handsome tip."
The usher manages once again to find the man a seat, this time in the second row.
As he seats him, the man hands the usher a quarter.
The usher looks at the quarter, leans over and whispers, "The wife did it."
