Yep, it's that time again! Traditionally July is known for Independence Day, hot weather, and summer time cookouts. But now, every year July in Ohio is being known for something else too - The OHHA Talent Showcase Tour! Our nomination period has ended, and now the board of the OHHA & Music Conference is looking for the BEST talent Ohio has to offer to showcase at our main event on September 19th! How do we go about that? Well, every July we hit the road and travel to the biggest cities in Ohio, and set up competitions for rappers, singers, dancers, and spoken word artists to show and PROVE how hot they really are! Whoever wins the competition in each city wins a performance slot at our main event - the 2009 Ohio Hip Hop Awards show! They also win an automatic nomination in the "Best Live Performance" category, VIP tickets to the ceremony, and TONS of free promo by being an official performer on the bill. These are the cities we're hitting up: Cleveland 7/5; Akron 7/10; Dayton 7/19; Elyria 7/23; Toledo 7/24; Youngstown 7/26; Columbus 7/30; and Cincinnati 7/31.
