A cowboy walks into a bar and orders a whisky.
When the bartender delivers the drink, the cowboy asks, "Where is everybody?"
The bartender replies, "They've gone to the hanging."
"Hanging? Who are they hanging?"
"Brown Paper Pete," the bartender replied.
"What kind of a name is that?" the cowboy asked.
"Well," says the bartender, "he wears a brown paper hat, brown paper shirt, brown paper trousers and brown paper shoes."
"How bizarre," said the cowboy. "What are they hanging him for?"
"Rustling," answered the bartender.


Toward the end of the golf course, Harry somehow managed to hit his ball into the woods. He found it in a patch of pretty yellow buttercups. Trying to get his ball back in play, he ended up trashing just about every buttercup in the patch.
All of a sudden ...POOF! In a flash and puff of smoke, a little old woman appeared.
She said, "I'm Mother Nature! Do you know how long it took me to make those buttercups?? Just for that, you won't have any butter for your popcorn the rest of your life; better still: you won't have any butter for your toast for the rest of your life . . . . . As a matter of fact, you won't have any butter for anything the rest of your life!"
THEN POOF! . . . . she was gone.
After Harry got a hold of himself, he hollered for his friend, "Fred,where are you?"
Fred yells back, "I'm over here, in the pussy willows."
Harry yells back......
"DON'T SWING FRED!!! DON'T SWING!!!!!"


A man with a bald head and a wooden leg gets invited to a fancy-dress party. He doesn't know what costume to wear to hide his head and his leg, so he writes to a fancy dress company to explain the problem.
A few days later he receives a parcel with a note:
Dear Sir,
Please find enclosed a pirate's outfit. The spotted handkerchief will cover your bald head and with your wooden leg you will be just right as a pirate.
The man thinks this is terrible because they have just emphasized his wooden leg and so he writes a letter of complaint.
A week passes and he receives another parcel and a note which says:
Dear Sir,
Sorry about before. Please find enclosed a monk's habit. The long robe will cover your wooden leg and with your bald head you will really look the part.
Now the man is really annoyed since they have gone from emphasizing his wooden leg to emphasizing his bald head and he writes the company a really rude letter of complaint.
The next day he receives a small parcel and a note which reads:
Dear Sir,
Please find enclosed a tin of golden syrup treacle. Pour the tin of golden syrup treacle over your bald head, stick your wooden leg up your arse and go as a toffee apple!
