DJ SMALLZ REVEALS NEWEST MEMBER OF “THE LOUD PACK” & FEMALE DJ SEARCH WINNER, DJ DUFFEY

After launching a nationwide search looking for the hottest Female DJ in the music industry to join his team, DJ Smallz announced during SXSW in Austin that Texas native, DJ Duffey, was the newest member of “The Loud Pack, ” a distinctive and unique DJ crew featuring him and St. Petersburg’s own DJ Shurefire.

 

DJ Smallz, also known as, Mr. Southern Smoke initiated his nationwide female DJ search this past October by inviting female DJs from all backgrounds and skill levels to compete and prove their talent levels, musical knowledge, drive, and overall desire to join his established brand.  To enter, all competitors had to encompass a fundamental understanding of the DJ culture, a high level of knowledge on a variety of music genres, an outgoing and attention-grabbing personality, and of course, the ability to rock a crowd of any size anywhere in the world.

 

“DJ Duffey is going to change the DJ community forever, from this point forward,” DJ Smallz stated.  “It’s no secret Nicki Minaj’s accolades and endeavors in the past few years have sparked a high resurgence in the growth o females within the Hip Hop community.  As I look back and think about how few female DJs there are in Hip Hop, I decided to contribute to its growth by searching for one, adding her to the brand and doing my part, to give those females interested in the art of djing a bigger avenue and platform, by endorsing one of their own.”

 

Since 2003, DJ Smallz has been known throughout the music industry as one of the hardest working DJs and brand marketing gurus in the music game, with the introduction of his Southern Smoke mixtapes and affiliated brands.  Now, ten years later, he has decided to bring success to deserving, talented up and coming DJs through “The Loud Pack.”
