A rising star in hip hop, Pearl is set to take the industry by storm. Haitian-American entertainer, Ebony Fashion Fair model, and entrepreneur, Pearl creates a unique brand blending empowering lyrics with beauty and style.
Her sound is infectious. In 2009, Pearl won the highly competitive "Northwest Arkansas Idol Competition". Her debut mixtape, "American Dreamin," released in April 2009 to glowing reviews. It features 16 songs with original lyrics sampling tracks from Drake, Jay-Z, T-Pain and many more.
She's won acclaim in the industry, touring with and opening for various platinum selling artists including Lil Wayne. Pearl has also appeared in national publications including JET and Ebony Magazines. She toured more than 220 cities with Ebony Fashion Fair as a runway model with proceeds benefiting underprivileged children's educational goals.
Pearl founded, Linda Pearl Music, her indie label, in 2009.
Some of Pearl’s influences include MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, and Lauryn Hill.
